Bentley Koepke Inc. is located in Linwood, an east side community of Cincinnati.

We operate our business from a fire-house we renovated in 1978.

History

Bentley Koepke Inc. is a full service landscape architectural firm specializing in the planning and design of private and public landscapes. Our project expertise includes the layout and detailing of roads, walks, walls, site lighting, signage, grading, drainage, site irrigation, site furnishings, and planting.

A predecessor firm, John Bentley Associates, was founded in Cincinnati by John Bentley in 1970. John Bentley and Martin Koepke have worked together since 1978 and have been partners since 1988.

The firm is currently active in many areas of landscape architectural practice including master planning, corporate, municipal and institutional site planning and design. Our staff is loyal and dedicated, collectively achieving our goal of improving the quality of life while providing the best professional services possible for our clients.

Qualifications

Much of the work performed by Bentley Koepke Inc. focuses on recreation, urban design, corporate and institutional landscape design including commercial improvements and a variety of municipal projects. Integral to the success of our projects is our ability to facilitate program development and assess the diverse interests and needs of our clients. We believe our success depends upon direct participation of the client and/or community. For a project to serve its purpose, it needs to be developed from a foundation that addresses the factors that are molding it. These factors include the client's visions, expectations, ideas, concerns, and possible input from a variety of other entities or groups that are affected by the project. We believe a project's inherent quality comes from integrating these factors and personalities into our designs.

Each of our projects start by first identifying the groups that are directly affected by the project and by formally or informally including the various public and/or private interests early in the discovery and problem-solving process.

Our site designs and detailing withstand the test of time both aesthetically and functionally.

Our philosophy in design is to create "sustainable landscapes," which improve with age and are easier to maintain. Quality materials and detailing are paramount in establishing community pride and respect for the built environment.
