Mr. Koepke is responsible for design production and project management of Bentley Koepke Inc., maintaining the firm as a leader in research and development of design standards and procedures. He also serves as project landscape architect and designer directing the firm's staff to achieve project goals and objectives.
Martin has over 20 years experience as a landscape architect and has successfully implemented commercial, corporate, civic and institutional projects. His specific experience includes master planning parks systems and also the design and management of parks, streetscapes, fountains, plazas, gardens, site structures (i.e. walls, pavilions, pergolas, arbors, etc.), lighting, site furnishings and focal elements. Martin's creative use of construction materials and construction technology has enabled him to produce several award winning projects. He has established himself as a team player and thrives in the creative exchange of ideas the team environment offers. His recent work as project landscape architect includes: Fountain Square, Cincinnati, Ohio: Renovation/restoration of garage and plaza. Oxford Parks & Recreation Master Plan, Oxford, Ohio: Comprehensive master plan including needs assessment, community facilitation, programming and design. Campus Green, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio: Major open space and pedestrian corridor development in central campus in collaboration with Hargreaves Associates and Champlin Haupt Medical Sciences Building Plaza, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati: Redesign of plaza and landscape in collaboration with Michael Schuster Associates University College, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio: Site construction observation for development of pedestrian plaza. Library Expansion, PLCHC, Cincinnati, Ohio: Streetscape and landscape design for special needs $31 mil. expansion. Children's garden, special paving, lighting and planting. In collaboration with Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott and GBBN architects. Municipal Commons, Village of Evendale, Ohio: Site concept for new municipal building creating quadrangle with existing buildings and defining 'municipal commons'. Special paving, realignment of vehicular and pedestrian circulation including revised parking area. Lighting, furnishings etc. Government Square, Cincinnati, Ohio - the reenergizing of a downtown plaza/bus terminal through structural focal elements and seasonal floral displays Reading Road Streetscape, Evendale, Ohio: A two mile streetscape and signage package including lighting and custom planters Meacham Fountain, Cincinnati, Ohio: A historic city park focal element in existing Mirror Lake. The sculptural fountain includes a structural enclosure and sixty foot jet. Ogle Property/Vevay Master Plan, Vevay, Indiana: Master plan, programming economic development strategies.
